Radio-Tracking Terrapins of Florida Bay
In keeping with our mission statement, our biologists are working in cooperation with various agencies and universities to establish “baseline research data” on a variety of wildlife species that may be used as “indicator species” to show improvement or decline in the environment of an area.
We are also among the first to study rattlesnake populations on islands in Florida Bay, and participated in the discovery of previously unknown freshwater turtles in the Bahamas.
